Equal Opportunities and Employment (one day programme)
Aims and Objectives:
The promotion of rights, equality, inclusion and anti-discriminatory practice is a requirement across the whole of the early years workforce both in relation to users of services and the staff/volunteers that provide them.
The aim of this one day programme is to ensure all those working in 'early years' have an understanding of the legislation and policies that promote human rights, equality and freedom from discrimination; how this can impact on their working lives and the role they play in promoting rights, equality and diversity in their workplace.
This is an interactive workshop with a strong emphasis on application to practice
